About Horizons

Horizons is a transformational, community-centered, out-of-school-time learning program proven to close the opportunity gap. We believe that every child, regardless of background, should have the same chance at making a positive impact on his or her community.

Horizons Bridgeport’s six-week summer learning and year-round programs support students from under-served communities through academics, social-emotional learning, confidence-building activities, and strong, long-term relationships.

Students begin their Horizons journey as early as Kindergarten and return year after year through high school. It is this long-term, deep engagement with our students that helps them thrive.
